Boundary Training | Quadrennial Sexual Ethics Requirement

All clergy in the Alabama-West Florida Conference should mark their calendars for one of the below dates and locations for the Quadrennial Sexual Ethics Requirement, sponsored by the AWF Board of Ordained Ministry. Those who participate fully in the day and the reading/writing assignment will receive 1.0 continuing education unit (CEU). 

This is a required event for all clergy.

All times are 9am-3pm. Cost is $20.

Reading and Assignment Requirements

Please note that the following reading is to be completed prior to your session: Saying No to Say Yes: Everyday Boundaries and Pastoral Excellence by Olson and Devor and the conference policy on sexual harassment. In response to these readings, please bring your written response that addresses the following: Describe your ministry setting and role. Discuss 3 takeaways from the required readings that would inform and enhance both your understanding and practice of healthy boundaries. Your written response turned in at the event will serve as the attendance record so be certain your name is on your work.

A limited number of book scholarships are available. Scholarship requests must be received by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, July 25.
