Vital Conversations: Meaningful Conversations on Race

“Vital Conversations: Meaningful Conversations on Race” will be a time for lay persons and clergy to engage in facilitated conversations on race, culture, and justice. Our time together will start with a brief recap of the topics covered at the clergy’s “Resisting Racism” Diversity Trainings held throughout the Annual Conference during the month of September. We will then shift our focus to table talks that will be guided by questions pertaining to a brief video that will be shown. The Vital Conversations gathering will be a great time of insightful and fruitful dialogue for both laity and clergy.
